EvoVideo

The Polycom VideoUnit works well with EVO, although the VideoUnit can not initiate a connection to EVO by itself. To set up an EVO conference, first log in to EVO using the PC, connect to the meeting that you are interested in, then select the Call menu item from the meeting window. Under the Call menu select H.323 which will bring up a separate window. Enter a display name (if you wish) and under IP type hepvideo.uoregon.edu. It is recommended that you de-select the option "Connect through local Koala" and adjust the Bandwidth as desired. To connect the VideoUnit, it is then necessary to click the big green phone icon at the top of the box.

A remote party already connected to the EVO meeting could initiate the connection to the VideoUnit instead.

For the duration of the meeting, the person who connected the VideoUnit through EVO must remain in the meeting. As soon as that person leaves the meeting, the connection to the VideoUnit will also be disconnected.

Sound from the meeting will be routed through the VideoUnit, so the PC sound (both in and out) should be muted in the EVO meeting window. The VideoUnit volume can be adjusted with the Polycom remote.
